Every Kid in a Park

Beginning each September, all US fourth graders can download their own voucher to gain unlimited, free access to 400 national parks and millions of acres of federal lands and waters for a year. This admits all children under 16 and up to three adults for free for any sites that charge entrance fees. Complete an online game, and download a personalized voucher for print and use at federal lands and waters locations. This paper voucher can be exchanged for a more durable, Interagency Annual 4th Grade Pass at certain federal lands or waters sites. Click here to download your voucher.

Seattle Every Kid in a Park Collaborative

In support of this initiative, organizations across the Puget Sound are teaming up to get more kids and families learning in and exploring the outdoors including the Pacific Northwest’s amazing national parks.

The Seattle Every Kid in a Park Collaborative is working together to decrease barriers and increase engagement for Seattle youth with multiple outdoor engagement opportunities including the 4th grader federal lands pass. We do this to connect youth with their community parks and federal lands in order to foster the next generation of environmental stewards.
